WHO
WE ARE

Mia Bianchi, 17, is currently a high school junior at MVHS. Mia grew up playing club soccer, and played at the highest level of club on an ECNL team with the ambition of playing in college. A few years ago, Mia was diagnosed with a bicuspid aortic valve but she has been able to continue playing sports despite this inefficiency. This diagnosis has focused her concentration on seeking a career in medicine, and potentially in the speciality of cardiology. Mia had also suffered a significant knee injury in 2018 which she had recovered from, but then endured a season ending tear of her hip flexor in 2022 while playing in an ECNL college showcase in Las Vegas. This tear forced her to take a medical retirement from soccer, but after completing months of physical therapy she is back to competing again running sprints in track. This setback, although sad and discouraging, has not halted her passion and love for sports, but only reinforced her desire to help those less fortunate to find their path, and to hopefully help them reach their full potential in sports.

Cole, 14, is an eighth grade student at RSM Intermediate. Cole has played multiple sports in Orange County, including Little League baseball, flag football, club basketball, club soccer, and travel baseball. Currently, Cole is playing with the Saddleback Cowboys travel baseball program and will be attending Santa Margarita Catholic High School.  Cole has played so many sports throughout the years and understands how critical proper equipment is for sports development.  Through the Bianchi Sports Foundation, Cole wants to make sure that access to sporting equipment is no longer an obstacle, and that all kids will have the chance to play and succeed.

While traveling with their family, Mia and Cole have seen kids in communities within the United States and abroad, playing soccer and baseball without cleats, without baseball bats, and without baseball gloves. These experiences have prompted them to try to become a part of the solution, seeking donations of lightly used and new sports equipment to distribute to those kids in need.  Mia and Cole are passionate about all kids having the opportunity to reach their potential and and the chance to fulfill their dreams.
